Fixing Global Warming

Global Warming, Fact or Fiction!

Scientists and many other so called experts have been going back and forth debating whether Climate Change is a real problem or a temporary phenomenon. We’d like to point out the earth has experienced many cycles of heating and cooling for the millions of years it has been going around the sun. It wasn’t that long ago, something like 40 years, Scientists were making a claim that we were heading into another Ice Age. There was a program several years ago on PBS where they were discussing that thousands of years ago, the Antarctic had been ice free, but then in the last few minutes they blamed Global Warming on the current melting of the ice.   If the Earth is warming as much as they claim, and the Glaciers and Icebergs are melting as fast as reported, many of our coastal cities all over the world would now be flooded.

Global Warming has its basis in computer models that scientists use to determine what may happen with the input of a variety of data.  If the data is slightly off, the computer models will also be off.  Computer models are a fancy term for scientific guesswork.  If computer models were 100% accurate, they would be able to tell the temperature, whether it will be sunny or rainy, and the wind direction Thursday afternoon at 3:38 PM in 4 weeks.

To the right is an image of the computer models for the Hurricane Irma that recently wiped out much of the Caribbean, Cuba, Florida, and caused much flooding on the East Coast of the United States.   As you can see there were many paths indicated from different computer models, and most were wrong.  The importance should not be minimized because they do offer a warning for a region that may be affected by the potential destructiveness of a Hurricane.

The following paragraph is from the NASA Science Earth website, these are the scientists that everyone goes to for answers;

Earth is a complex, dynamic system we do not yet fully understand. The Earth system, like the human body, comprises diverse components that interact in complex ways. We need to understand the Earth’s atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere as a single connected system. Our planet is changing on all spatial and temporal scales. The purpose of NASA’s Earth science program is to develop a scientific understanding of Earth’s system and its response to natural or human-induced changes, and to improve prediction of climate, weather, and natural hazards.

These are the same scientists that claim Global Warming is caused by mankind!  The paragraph above, basically states that they do not fully understand the complexities of the interaction of all the components of our atmosphere! Yet they claim with certainty we are responsible for Global Warming!

OK, so now what?

We are not here to tell you that we have all the answers, no one does!  There are many influences that affect our environment, and the ideas that we propose will have a positive effect on our climate.  We cannot just look at fossil fuels, and expect that if we reduce our dependence on them that all our problems will be solved.  There are many other influences, and any discussions about the climate must include the Sun, for that has a major effect on the Global temperature.

We believe that we can make a difference now, and fix many of the problems that are blamed on Climate Change. Global Warming has been a recent issue, but we have many other problems that are ignored in these discussions. There are drought conditions in many parts of the world, aquifers that have been around for thousands of years are being sucked dry. Weather has been extreme, Hurricanes have been more intense, Tornados destructive and more in number, summer is hotter, and winter is colder.  The recent Hurricane, Irma was described as a huge storm, and some blamed Global Warming, but in 1960, about 57 years ago, the Hurricane Donna was equally as destructive, the population was not as dense so there was less impact.

We think that without getting into too much detail here, we have a way to fix Climate Change, fix Global Warming!’  That point is worth stressing, we can make a difference now, and with some confirming studies, this process can be started within a year, and show results in 5 to 10 years.
